Harrah's Northern California opened April 29, 2019. It is located on the east side of Coal Mine Road, approximately 1 mile south of the unincorporated town of Buena Vista, 5 miles southeast of the city of Ione, 28 miles northeast of the City of Stockton, and 32 miles southeast of the city of Sacramento. The casino is built on 17 acres of reservation land where the tribe has lived on since 1817. In 2018 the Buena Vista Band of Me-Wuk Indians signed an agreement with Caesars Entertainment to manage this casino and license Harrah's brand name.
The casino opened Apin Ione, California and features 950 slot machines, 20 table games, an upscale restaurant, a fast food court and a coffee bar. Harrah's Northern California is an Indian gaming casino is owned by the Buena Vista Band of Me-Wuk Indians and managed by Caesars Entertainment using its Harrah's brand.
